Our distinctive facility offers a limited number of memberships that enable our Studio Members and Open Studio Members access to private spaces or shared areas with plenty of designated, secure storage space to meet your needs. Classroom and gallery-style event spaces are also available for group sessions, art shows, and small gatherings. The Grotto is more than just a space - it's an environment where creativity comes alive!

Are you tired of working on your art in a corner, garage, or utility room at home where your space is limited but your distractions are not? Our private art studios provide the perfect secluded and serene environment for your creativity to flourish!

Our 10' x 10' creative spaces feature private access, locking doors, a mini-sink, and access to all indoor and outdoor community open spaces. Plus, our Private Studio Members receive event hour credits to hold exhibitions or events in our event spaces for up to 50 guests.

The collaborative and supportive energy that flows through our shared workspaces allows artists to find inspiration to unleash their imaginations. If you enjoy interaction, feedback, and a group dynamic, a shared workspace brings it all together!

With plenty of natural light and bright, open interiors that transition to covered conservation areas - plus access to member-only secure storage - our shared workspaces offer the organized space you need at an affordable price. A monthly classroom credit is included for Open Studio Members, giving you three hours in a classroom setting to instruct a group of up to 12 students.

At The Grotto at Stoneybrook West, our private studio memberships offer complete autonomy for our artists. Our 10' x 10' private studios give you maximum control over your creative environment and include private access with a locking door, a mini-sink, plus full access to community spaces inside and out. Every month, Private Studio Members receive 4 hours worth of event credits that can be used to hold exhibitions or events in our event spaces. A private art studio is ideal if you need complete privacy to focus without distractions, want to maintain your own schedule, and have specific needs for maintaining your space and keeping noise levels to a minimum. Whether you choose a private art studio rental or a shared workspace rental, you'll have access to open spaces with plenty of natural light and a pleasant, calming ambiance. The Grotto takes advantage of its beautiful location by seamlessly integrating indoor and outdoor spaces, with a covered conservation area that serves as an extension of the studio. We also understand that storage can be a challenge, so we also offer a secure member area with plenty of storage for your supplies. The Grotto at Stoneybrook West is proud to offer classroom space that's available to rent for workshops, seminars, and group sessions. Event and classroom time usage credits are available for our Private Studio and Open Studio Members members, but you don't have to be a member to rent one of our classrooms or event spaces. There are minimum hourly requirements for each type of rental - a 3-hour minimum for classrooms and a 4-hour minimum for event spaces.
